Our Commitment

GIGDATA LLC, operating as AI-Signed, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to our website and services.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Accessibility Features

AI-Signed incorporates the following accessibility features:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic elements to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
  • Keyboard navigation:All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard. A "Skip to content" link is available on every page.
  • Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
  • Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are provided for all interactive elements to assist keyboard users.
  • Alternative text: Images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked with aria-hidden.
  • Form labels: All form inputs have associated labels for screen reader identification.
  • Responsive design: The site is usable at all viewport sizes and supports text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • No motion sensitivity triggers: We do not use auto-playing animations or content that flashes more than three times per second.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:

  • Trust badge images: Dynamically generated badge images include alt text with the grade and domain, but the full visual breakdown of trust categories is better conveyed through the verification page.
  • Third-party content: Some embedded third-party content (such as Stripe payment forms) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We work with providers that prioritize accessibility.

Testing

We test our site using a combination of automated tools and manual review. Our sister product, WCAG Repair, specializes in identifying and remediating accessibility issues across websites, and we apply the same standards to our own properties.
